おはよう❣️今朝の東京はミストがかかった空。5時過ぎからは真っ赤な太陽が現れ、その後は力強く真っ白な輝きを放ちながらどんどん昇って行きました。#powerofthesun#sunsalutation#太陽礼拝#newday 今週末でいよいよ宮本算数教室・中野は最後の授業を迎え、GW明けには新たな拠点で生まれ変わります（千代田区・住所非公開）。今まで宮本先生にとって「教室の移転＝成長の証」でした。横浜、 東京（日本橋）、ニューヨーク（2015年2月からマンハッタングランドセントラル駅すぐそば）、そして2017年3月から再び東京（中野）へ。
今までは「教室については上位校を目指す生徒だけ」そして「宮本哲也については算数講師としてのみ」の成長にしか正直興味がなかった、と言う宮本先生。でも、昨日2018.4.20配信のメールマガジンにも書かれていましたが、2016.10.5にマンハッタンで結婚してからは人生観が一変し、今まで考えたこともなかった 「心のあり方」を見直し、相手の「心」を思いやること、周りの人と「心」を通わせることが重要性を増しました。
何よりも「心」を大事にすることが大切で、「心の結びつき」が「生きる上で決して欠いてはならないこと」であり、本当の意味での「幸せ」を見つけられることなんだ、と「結婚という契りを交わして初めて知った」と言います。

一方で、仕事人としての宮本哲也は「実は心の傷を癒しに教室に来ている子供が中にはいて、オレの授業でその子の笑顔を取り戻したい！」と思うようになりました。
宮本算数教室では毎週末、子供達は先生が提供した「うーっむ、難しい！でも面白い！」問題に向かい合いながら「無言のエネルギー交換」が行われ、「生きる力」を磨いています。今年開校25周年にして新設された小2のクラスと既存の小3のクラスは新たな試みとして、授業のYouTubeライブ配信がスタートしました。欠員待ちで授業に参加できない子供達、または遠距離で通学が困難な子供達がスクリーンを通して一緒に学習できるよう、願いを込めて。また、「教材コース」登録者はYouTubeでライブ配信される練習問題を一緒に教室の子供達と大きな声を出して参加後、「10秒前、5秒前、、、はじめ！」の合図で一斉に無言でひたすら解き始める子供達と同じ問題を授業終了後、実際手に取ることが出来ます。授業で毎週配られる新しい問題は市販のものとは全く違う、とっても難しい問題ばかり。でもすごく面白くてみんな吸い込まれるように解いていて、私語やよそ見など論外の、張り詰めた空気・緊張感はここ、宮本算数教室だけ❣️ #kenkenpuzzle#inventor#tetsuyamiyamoto#miyamotomathematics

Today I thought I would give you glimpse into my reality. It’s far from Instaglam but I was fed up of all the fakeness out there! In life I am as real, honest and natural as I can be but this was the last big secret that I was literally keeping undercover.
Everyone’s addictions and quirks differ and mine has been that I have pulled my own hair out for the last 22 years.
Regardless of what our weird obsessions are, I believe they all stem from the same thing. Suppressing or distracting ourselves from feeling negative emotions.
For me I never felt safe to open up to anyone. I was scared of being called a cry baby; scared of being labelled oversensitive; scared of having my fears and pains laughed off or dismissed in some way. So I blocked all negative feelings completely and held everything in. I never asked for help and tried to deal with life completely on my own.
But holding in feelings lead to an increase in my anxiety and what started as a small comforting habit, no different to nail biting, spiralled out of control.
The hardest thing for me has been finding someone that I felt close enough to and that I trusted enough to actually open up to. Allowing myself to be vulnerable when I had spent most of my life with a “poker face”on, was an incredibly scary prospect!! Thankfully I found someone who I respected so much, that I wanted to be so open and honest with, that it was actually impossible for me to hide ❤️ Until we can feel, process and express our negative feelings we stay blocked emotionally. We create anxiety inside our bodies; we alienate ourselves from true connection and we can not begin to heal from our pains. It’s not a process that is by any means easy but it sure is worth while!
I hope by sharing this that it allows others to feel safe in their skin and to embrace their own quirks and weirdness! Don’t be alone.
