FRENCH RIOT POLICE ADMITS TO VIOLENCE & BRUTALITY
A veteran CRS officer, who has worked in the ‘Jungles’ of Nord Pas de Calais for over 15 years, has revealed the extent of police violence towards refugees in northern France. “Oh, I have destroyed many encampments, I have emptied canisters of tear gas to contaminate people’s sleeping bags… In Calais I follow orders and I don’t think. … I [have] colleagues who set tents on fire so badly that the fire brigade had to be called. “I’ve been going to Calais for fifteen years. I’ve known Sangatte, makeshift camps, the jungle, and today the post-jungle era. At the moment there are no actual shacks, only small tarps hidden as well as possible, because they know that if we find them we’ll kick them out. It’s not the CRS’s fault, it’s the system’s. We are asked to look busy, to evict people, to arrest them... I detach myself from the all of this. Maybe one day I’ll confess my sins to the Lord!” While Macron is threatening to take charities exposing this to court for defamation, his own security forces have now admitted the violent treatment witnessed by volunteers every day. These revelations raise even more questions about the £45 million the British government has this week promised to provide for French border security in Calais.

Somehow, 28 is the one character from @extractn8 to which i can relate the most and that’s why im gonna make them suffer in the comic >:/ Pic from yesterday + closeups on some of the details
So the thing about 28 is that they are immortal due to their artificial cells that react like magnets when separated and almost as strong as a god. Yet even they have their limits- like when they use too much of the thousands of abilities they have like strength, speed, fire resistance, capability of creating something out of nothing, taking and giving lives, keeping souls alive, materializing something into something different ,borrowing stuff from an alternate universe , stopping time, stretching out space and so on they start to get tired and at one point their psychological state ‘breaks’ and they stop seeing differences between dead and alive, making of course a chance for all those that seek revenge on something posses them and make them do terrible things.
That’s why 28 avoids using any of their abilities and relies on their human nature...also it’s not able to avoid the breakdowns completely so it just tries to be as far away from things they can kill and or destroy.
Them wanting to die is just a thing because they’re so immortal and they’re really annoyed by that since they will have to live a life hidden.
APPEARANCE; the real #menace2society. As a collective, we are conditioning our boys (one way or another) into thinking and believing that they must behave in a way that is perceived as masculine to be accepted by their peers. Phrases like: "don't be a pussy" get thrown around; or, my favourite, "there's no logic in emotion". And you know what, I agree with the last one.. there is absolutely no logic in emotion. BUT, emotion is what makes us human. To strip away or hold back our ability to act on, display, feel and talk about our emotions, is to take away aspects of humanity; parts of ourselves. When someone, irrespective of age or sex, holds back on what they truly feel, I believe they suffer; their soul is suffocated. They may experience feelings of sadness, depression, anxiety, anger, frustration and/or violence. The problem with this prevalence in men is that they are shamed into believing that there is no way out, because is how they are MEANT to behave; they are meant to SUPPRESS their emotions to gain status as a "man". Dangerous, I know. I believe there is such incredible strength in vulnerability, and I believe it takes courage to speak your truth and feelings; not the other way around.
Everyone deserves to be able to express themselves without fear of judgment or degradation of their reputation.
With that being said, be you; unapologetically. Fuck the rest
