This little lady has been my #BFF for 3 years! Not a tear on her, no smell in the plastic lining and I use it EVERY DAY! The ice packs slide into the sides to keep the shaker pouches cooled as well and I can stack up to 4 meals in the center area. The ice packs keep food and drinks chilled over 8 hours! The top zipper gives me a spot to stash my silver ware, extra oatmeal and protein powder to have just in case I need it. Mesh pockets are great for your keys, cell etc.

A wonderfully delicious way to get your water intake for the day is to make “spa water.” What is it? It’s water with cucumber slices and lemon! Whole Foods sells this water for around $5 but it’s so easy and way cheaper to make on your own. My roommate @tashaoh7eleven and I have been obsessed lately.🥒🍋

Prep for the next two shifts... DONE! This past week was a stressful one, I broke my IF window.... didn't track as accurately as I should have. But I'm back on track!! Most of the time I don’t really go by someone’s review when they just opened the box or used it for the first time… it just doesn’t makes sense to me. 🤷🏻♀️ Anywho… I was on the hunt for an insulated shaker cup to keep my smoothies cold; I typically use mason jars (don’t fit into my cup holder) or a regular shaker cup (doesn’t keep it icy). I blend my protein shakes with ice so I didn’t need it for the shaker aspect, but I am sure I will at some point. I like my shakes thick and very cold.
I research a lot- sometimes way too much. 🙄 Did some research and found the @iceshakerbottle (plus a few others), after a lot of research and reading I decided to buy that one. It came yesterday and I had to use it. I drink 2-3 protein shakes per day.
I was afraid it wouldn’t hold all of my smoothie (because I do 10oz. of water and like 2 cups of ice - and my other shaker cup is 28oz where this one is 26oz), but it does! It also fits in my cup holder nicely and it kept it super, duper cold ❄️.
Yes, it was my first time using it- so I’ll review it again after many uses and let you know what I think then.

Food prepped and ready for 4 days away for the Okanagan valley throwdown! I thought I'd pack more meals, but apparently protein shakes and protein bars are the best thing according to others who've competed (low fat, high carb, protein) & we're eating out for sure the last night!
The meals (that I started BEFORE I realized I should have more bars /shakes) are: (so looks like the family is getting a whole lot of leftovers to eat while I'm away 😂) #ricefordays
1) 2x roasted chicken with quinoa power salad
2) 2x skinny taste korean beef bowls with roasted broccoli
3) roasted chicken, sweet potatoes hash & roasted broccoli

Kodiak power pancakes with sauteed apples & cinnamon (& I'm bringing Walden farms caramel syrup! 🤤 )
Protein bars (iso bar & fitjoy Grandma's lemon square bar are my favorite!) Protein cookies
Protein Popcorn (icon meal mint chocolate) - it. Is. AMAZING!!
There's no microwave so I chose things I thought would be good cold!

Day 2/4 in my carb cycle.... going really well so far!! 75g carb day after some cardio (BJJ,) here's what's on the menu:
1 scoop Green Vibrance
1 scoop ETB Mint choc chip
5 oz London broil, 150g broccoli, 45g baked sweet potato
4oz grilled chicken, 150g broccoli, 45g baked butternut squash
4oz baked cod with lemon/garlic, and 150g of zucchini
Lots of water!!!!
I’m always looking for ways to make life easier during the workweek. I usually prep in the black containers but I spend time looking in all of them to find the “right”meal. I purchased these colored ones so I’ll know what I’m getting by just grabbing the right color. Score.
Carb cycling: let's see how this works! Today was a minimal calorie burn day, so this is all less than 60g of carbs, 1150 calories. I'll continue to adjust my carb intake based off of my workouts throughout the week. Can't wait for my 200g day, the cardio will be worth the extra potatoes!
