About 7 years in between the pictures. Many ups and downs during that time but in the end we’re moving forward. Find a process and dedicate a few years to that. See what happens shit takes time.

Steve decided to take the new Earthquake bar for a spin! This bar is incredible hard to keep from vibrating in your hands which encourages extra stabilization in the shoulders, elbows, biceps, triceps and lower back to enhance muscle stabilization and improve joint function. This is just one of the many new bars we have brought in to our gym to help both our general health and wellness clients as well as our strength sport athletes improve! THE PERFECT DIET.
Is one you can adhere to. You hear that all the time right? Every cliche fitspo to the well educate will most likely tell you something along those lines. But for so many you’re probably thinking “ BUT I CANT ADHERE TO ANYTHING THATS MY PROBLEM!!”
And you know what? I get that. And in a world of “just pick something you can stick to” “carbs are making you fat” “fat is bad” “keto is the best diet” “grains will kill you” “sugar is the devil” “fasting will save your life!!” how do you even know what diet you should even follow!?
❓Now- this is where the “one you can stick to” comes into play. Right now- look at all those diets and ask your self: “Could I stick to this diet for the rest of my life with ~80% accuracy and be happy”. If the answer is NO then guess what- it will fail for you.
👍🏻For some totally removing an entire food group WORKS. For some removing an entire macro WORKS. For some tracking WORKS. And for others they fail and fail again.
💣Instead of looking at ONE style of eating and trying to force ourselves into one small box let’s focus on the underlying themes all these groups yelling over the internet “WERE THE BEST DIET” have in common shall we? 👇🏻👇🏻
➡️ They all, in one way or another, weather you track or not are creating a caloric deficit. This is done by removing X, Y or Z foods thus reducing your daily intake, or monitoring what you eat. There’s not metabolic magic.
➡️ They all have an emphasis on moderate to high protein intake to support muscle tissue repair and growth. •
➡️ They ALL put a heavy emphasis on being heavily plant based. This doesn’t mean removing meat but rather a diet of high vegetable and moderate fruit consumption. 🥕= 🔑 •
➡️ They are all simply manipulating a variable. And often this results in the over all decrease of excessive intake of food and likely processed foods. Some let in a bit of flexibility with that but over all will dramatically replace or remove those for lean meats, veggies, healthy carbs or fats. (Thus creating a caloric deficit 😘)
➡️ They all can be adapted in bits to mold YOUR perfect diet and are often found through trial and error, patience and learning! 💗
