Thankful of the Powerlifting community because it's made me stronger, more confident, more happy, more positive about myself.It's really helped me kick down a lot of my walls and barriers that we're holding me back from being happy. This post is to also show that my whole life isn't Powerlifting though and isn't something I would normally post. It's to show that I'm a school student, a powerlifter, and just a regular normal person. It's so awesome to see that all these women are recognising that we can do strength training, it's not just for men. I love this movement and I encourage anyone to join it. #gwplmealsome
STILL really excited that I got 110lbs for 5 sets of 2 yesterday. 110 has been my biggest mental block since I ever started powerlifting and after I beat it last week, I can finally feel comfortable with it and get it without worry. I guess all the trauma from high reps was worth it @teamproscience 😂
Some squattin’ after 4 days off from heavy lifting. Was a tad nervous since I’ve been sick but they felt really smooth & easy.

I know it's cold and not weather appropriate, but I'm thinking fondly of the smoothie bowls @fuelingtothrive and I inhaled during our trip to Miami last year. Every day, we sought a new bowl. A new smoothie. A new fiber hit.
But don't take me back, because that ish was expensizzle.

First bench day in months, so I wasn’t expecting anything special. But ya girl managed to get 95x3, which ain’t too impressive, but for being away from the gym for so long, I’ll take it 🙌🏻 this video was my very last set @ 75lbs for 5.

Week 2 Day 1 of the #GetEMBodiedChallenge gave me ALL of the booty pumps 🍑 the 1 minute rest period between sets is killer 😅 and the concept rower leg curls 🔥 I swear I will definitely be incorporating some of these movements and this style of training in the future, even after the program is over, because @em_dunc knows what she is doing y’all ❤️
IDK anymore. The UC Davis ARC has banned me from using the gym for over a month already for breaking policy. I've recognized my actions and apologized and just want access to the gym where I go to not only lift and play volleyball for my physical well being, but for my mental health as well. I've literally cried about this and pretty much begged for my access back, but they refuse to return access for me, even though I'm a paying student whose thousands of dollars of tuition support this damn gym. I've tried to express that going to the gym is important to me and a huge part of my life, but they frankly don't give a shit because all that matters is that I broke the rules. So here I am, a Senior with only a year left in school, trying to powerlift at a 24 hour commercial gym with a free day pass because I literally don't have any money to spare on a real gym membership elsewhere. I'm honestly so mentally worn down from not being able properly train and powerlift or even play volleyball for a convenient basic school facility that I already pay thousands of dollars for. Fuck you #ucdavisarc
Comment and tag #ucdavis for me to help me get access back to the gym or raise awareness... Maybe something will happen, who knows. At this point, I don't expect them to let me back in. .

Have you ever seen 95% move this easily? 👌🏻 4ish months ago Amy pulled a slow and tough 125kg dead, this is 117.5kg. After working very, very hard on her upper back strength and deadlift position she’s now flying through this peak, can’t wait for Sunday @amyfal! All the hard work is done 💪🏻
