A Northern SK. sunset in Cigar Lake photo by Dunja G
Winter in SK makes me sad because I feel so confined to my home. I miss laying in the grass and feeling the sunshine on my face and having the option to hoop outside. I miss laughing into the evenings around a fire, staring up at the constellations and the moon! I miss the smell of rain on hot pavement and the way the rain would bring everything back to life.
I will admit that I do NOT miss the spruce bugs at the lake. 😌😌😌😌 Winter in Saskatchewan is very cold and harsh, but I do enjoy staring at the moon before I go to work! We've also been super lucky to have so much sunshine this year during the winter and are able to enjoy these beautiful skies, i got a weird look today as I drove with my window down in -20 to feel the sunshine! 🙈
Bring the summer back!
Groovin in the kitchen again, get some cardio in after a coney island poutine😛. Sometimes I accidentally go to throw the hoop and realize im in the kitchen so weirdly awesome other things happen, but Im really loving just getting back into my circle. Dancing is the best stress reliever and best way to workout at home!
Doing it in tight spaces has been a successful practice for me!
Be silly, be you!
Day 12/30 #hoopplay challenge
Create a habit.
Hoop by @moodhoops
Motivation because I am tired, it's Friday, my first week of 5 consecutive day of 4-5am wake ups, full time work and balancing 6 hours of class, homework, the flu and training in our -30° celsius weather. Questioning how I know people that work full time AND go to school full time cause HOW?
Last night I had a terrible sleep, as I shut my eyes all the things Ive overcome from grade 7 to now whirled in my brain. I laughed because it seemed SO hard then, like Id be stuck there, helpless but now I understand that life works in cycles. There are going to be times when you have to put your head down and grind and there will be times to play.
Ive learnt over time that what seems hard now is an obstacle you must overcome for growth. That each time we work on building ourselves up and going after the things we want is what creates our legacy. Life is too short to be stagnant, to be tired, to not be enjoyed. So chase your motherfucking dreams and own it friends.
LOL my client just sent me this.
I tend to send a lot of emails at 4 AM before work😳😳😳😳 Or the guy that works out at 6am and 6pm and is really confused why I'm still there.
Day 7/30 #hoopplay challenge lungs cant keep up to the hoop with this damn cold but still having fun finding my groove again. 💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟
This is beautiful and so true. Remember that not every day will be great but to keep fighting the good fight. 💟
Day 3/30 kitchen jams
Create a Habit
Practice is everything in all that you do! Take chances, make mistakes, those are experiences that you can use to guide your practice in whatever it may be.
When you smile so hard you cant see your eyes, that's how you know you're doing what you love💟. So proud of Mel achieving her first total as an official CPU powerlifter. 4 months of Powerlifting specific training at 34 years old, mom of two, and puts up 240kg total at 54kg BW. Solid start and big things ahead girl. Proud to call you a good friend and an amazing client💪. Thank you @granny_gainz for the photo.
So rusty it hurts but das okay. Shortly before my hiatus I upgraded to a mood hoop, a bit smaller however(on purpose), and it has a lot more speed than I was used to. Gonna take some practice.
I actually initially started hooping in January of 2016 when i had an irritated disc in my back from a hip issue from bad shoes waitressing mixed with poor form deadlifting 😂 (srsly..deadlifts shouldnt hurt if youre doing them right. Get help!). Took a month off right after I signed up for my first meet, had to do something to keep busy so i bought a piece of plastic and danced in it.
Day 2/30 of #hoopplay January Challenge.
Is there a way to copy and paste on IG?😜 STEP 1: like @lvdfitness and order your media package before Friday!!!
STEP 2: share this post and instructions for your chance to win #cpunats2018 photo package!!!!! Did I do this right?
Day 1/30 for #hoopplay challenge , my mission is to choreograph a whole song-im a bit rusty. It has been at least 8 or more weeks since I had a session with my hoop. It is a source of méditation for me and I truly miss it. It's a place to forget worries and get into a flow and feel good in your body and in rhythm with the music.
Song is Revolution Indifference- Until The Ribbon Breaks (I'm obsessed with this album💟)

Happy New Year Instagram fam
2017 was great!
Everyone killed it on the platform today at #LastChance . A big take away for me as an athlete, and as a new ref and coach today was to take each failure as a new lesson to be learnt!
Why are we so scared of failure as adults? I saw multiple different kids climbing and bouldering at Grip It recently and after watching them do some crazy shit I realized it was truly because they werent afraid to fail. Their instincts, their mentality, their body wasnt working against them! Just like I watch amazing Powerlifters crush unreal numbers at Worlds(only on thr internet, cant wait to see it in person) with a strategy and a plan they know is going to work, if every thing else goes as planned cause yay life. But often we let our nerves get the best of us, myself included(every first squat) .We let the fear of failure and failure itself depict our day. Every time you see those red lights think of it as room for improvement and what you will do instead next time. The great things in life do not come easy! Practice more, dial in that technique, take a few deep breathes, then there is less chances of seeing the red lights and only more rewards💜💜. Learn from it, grow!!! Ive seen a lot of people hit some huge numbers this year and watched lots of new lifters completely transform, your transformation can be more than your total, your technique and your mental game are important too. BTW so proud of what @zumba_qween did on that platform today after training for Powerlifting for 4 months and leaving with 240kg total at 54kg BW. The #SPA looking real good sask fam, what a great way to end 2017.
Take the chance, do the thing but stay hungry and humble!
Little bit of a different angle than usual.
285x4 ..had to talk myself into the 4th rep haha
Pin squats- been doing these deeper than usual to focus on depth below parallel and overloading that.
Feeling like a slug from all the treats and the drinks. I'm a sucker for sampling new craft beers and meads but alcohol and my anxiety do not mix the next day...something Im thankful lifting helped me realize😜. I honestly came into the gym not wanting to lift heavy just because I was tired from a busy week of travelling and treats and chaos. Sometimes it's good to stray from program when youre not feeling it but once the endorphins hit after 15 minutes of cardio I found my mentality. Life isn't always going to be easy and we cant expect it to be. Sometimes you just have to show up.
MERRY CHRISTMAS. 🎅💜 It was only -40 when we took this photo. Welcome back Saskatchewan winter.
Pretty happy with how things moved today.
My focus for a long time has been increasing the weight on the bar, never feeling satisfied and comparing my numbers to others. More recently my focus has been how the weight moves after an 8 week set back on my heavy lifts due to a minor injury and focusing on MY numbers. I'm feeling a lot more confident in positioning and I know that it is setting me up in the future for the meets that are going to really matter. Nationals 2018 is going to be my first Nationals and I am still far away from any records or taking top 2 for a shot at worlds but it is going to be awesome experience and I cant wait to share the platform with so many amazing lifters. I know that if I keep practicing and be patient by putting in quality reps the time will come to really shine, still have a lot of experience left to collect and truly am excited to put in the work💟.
Super stoked for my client, she approached me because she wanted to push past her plateau and hit some PR's and boy oh boy has she ever.
I told her we'd do a 135lb bench before xmas on the first week of november with old 1RM at 115lb, and we did. She had never done a BW pull up and wanted to so I said we'd do that as well and we did. We crushed those goals and then she crushed her old 1RM deadlift for sets of 4 all in 7 WEEKS. It's funny what a few technical tweaks and proper programming can do. With work ethic like no other this girl is going to go far no matter what she does! Always fun training with her and stoked to see what 2018 brings.
Pretty happy with how my squat has been looking and feeling lately. The control I seem to have found in this block has made it feel unreal. Really focusing on pushing my hips back in the descent and staying strong in my heels and the external rotation of my knees, feels quite literally like Im pushing the floor away from me in the ascent. I always thought I had a deep squat but after looking through old footage I now understand a red light I got at a past meet on depth, must be my new set of ref eyes 😜. So I set my pin squats a little lower to practice how I have to play. Maybe a little too low but the the higher option was above parallel so do what you can
I also feel like working on my thoracic mobility has helped me keep my chest up which is where I failed my last two meets' third attempt squats as the weight squished me as my hips shot up too fast. Hoping to change that on the platform next time around. 💜💪🙏 Now lets see what we can do to the competition squat before #cpunats2018
Should probably decide on a weight class at some point here😌
Hard to believe this was a year ago. I remember every moment of this day like it were yesterday.
Ive learnt that a lot of the best moments in life can not be seen or touched, but rather felt. The training leading up this was so intense and there were so many uncertainties. At the end of the day I felt like it had paid off big time, I stood so proud getting my first gold medal.
If you're having a hard time today take some time to remember how far you've come and keep going.
When choosing a program, because there are MANY on the internet, you have to consider how it will work for you!
Exercise selection is very important when trying to gain strength, build muscle or lose weight. But not every excercise is going to have the same impact on every person due to individuality. When choosing excercises we want to specific to YOUR goal, your body and your strengths and weaknesses. This is why results come a lot faster when you have programs tailor made for you and your goal by a knowledgable coach.
When I program for my clients I write out the exercises we are going to use to get to their goal based off their mechanics and then accessories that are going to correct weakness/imbalances and create more strengths.
If you are just going to the gym and doing whatever you feel like with no order or thought it's unlikely you will produce results as your body will not be able to adapt due to the lack of program. The largest factor of achieving results is simply adhering to a plan, find something you can stick to, that is specific to your goal and you will conquer your 2018 goals.
In this video I am working on endurance and stability. Turkish get ups are known for providing stability in the shoulder joint and are a very dynamic exercise recruiting all of the muscles in the body. I do this as a warm up to my upper body days because I have a loose rotator cuff from a car accident many years ago and this has provided me with much more support in my shoulder, in my bench press and less pain in my every day life. Chin ups and push ups are also a total body excercise and I want a bigger and stronger back and chest for bigger lifts so I try to do them weekly until i get close to competition to give my upper body the recovery it needs to peak. Being able to body weight excercises is a great place to start in the gym and then add weight as you progress....there is no end to the regressions and progressions you can make, plus you feel like a total bad ass:)!!
Ohhhhhhhhhh yessssssss. Prs feel so much better when you are not maxing out for them.
I am so happy.
Super stoked to see what I can put together for #cpunats2018
The difference a few months of consistency makes.
L: 255x4 and wait for the beautiful lockout on 335 (march)
R: 345x4 (sept)
A lot of people arent patient enough to keep pushing when things stall out. Mentally it can be challenging to keep going but we cant always focus on the numbers. A big focus for me the last few months has been technqiue. Eventually you get to a point where just yanking on the bar doesnt work anymore and you have to improve your technique to avoid injury and to push past a plateau. Other factors come in to play too, recovery, stress, and nutrition play huge roles in our sucess as well and you may have to really focus on one or all of them to push past your limits.
Ive given up a lot of fun nights out and tv shows just to get enough sleep to recover. At the end of the day, you have to decide what your goals are, and what you are going to do to get there.
Not bad for a late Friday night. One of those days where you remember you just have to trust the process.
Apparently Im way better at deadlifts if I havent been standing for 10 hours. Also cabbage rolls instead of pre workout. What what.
Beltless Pause deadlifts
330x1 @8.5 little slow but felt like an 8
Happy with my back the last 2 blocks, pause deadlifts used to feel turrible. Feeling less weak erryday.
Birthday cake prs! Lol tbh felt a little sluggish and didnt wanna workout so late but got it done.
Didnt get to film all my lifts because my phone was dying but feel like I had an interesting break through in descending my squat. So interested to see how it will come together over the next few weeks. The more control you can have in a lift the more likely you are to hit those white lights👍. A big thing for me is the 3 seconds before descending in a squat, too quick and I lose tightness, too slow and I lose power. These felt good 👍. On track to hit a 170 bench right away and I am thrilled.
25 years old today and thrilled to keep living this exciting life!💜🔮🎁🎉 @Calgarybarbell#popeyesstrong#strongtothefinish
If you asked me three years ago what was most important to me I never would have said my happiness or my body, in fact I was always set on changing the way I looked, I was never happy with my appearance and I was just barely holding onto happiness.
Now while most people are revealing their otherside in this post, I no longer have one, I guess I change out of my gym clothes from time to time if that counts. I live and breathe training of my own and with others, there isnt a day where Im not learning more on training principles, body mechanics or nutrition. My room mate actually called me out while I was sick this week "do you ever just not do something even for a minute!?!". My body has become a temple of strength and perserverance and I am finally comfortable to just be myself. I have never felt happier, stronger and more disciplined than I do now and I truly have the iron and my hula hoop to thank for that.
It is an immeasurable feeling knowing that your body can physically and mentally take on any task. Living is easier and more fun. And the empowerment that comes along with physical and mental strength is something I am so happy to have experienced in my lifetime and even more blessed to be able to pass my knowledge on to others. That is my mission now, to help others find physical and mental health in and out of the gym through nutrition and exercise. Finding solace in the gym opened doors I never knew existed. Ive already applied to go back to University in the new year to take this passion to the next level💜💪
"I kept running away from my darkness until I understood that in it I would find my freedom"
This girl is a machine, she never quits and she is hungry for knowledge and PRs. Since our first session on Oct 31 she's been hitting prs daily with huge improvement in form. Excited to see what she does in the next year, she told me she wants to get on the platform ⚪⚪⚪ and the girl is gonna kill the jr 72 class!
Shown: 95x8x3 hang cleans
25lb weighted push up x10x3

Paused Bench: 100lbx4x6
Chin ups 4x6
Seeing my clients passion and fearlessness in and out of the gym motivates the hell out of me. You can do anything your mind believes, never forget that. Right now Im training people with goals for powerlifting, weight loss , Olympic lifts, reducing back pain, building muscle, getting wedding ready, and mobility! It's so motivating to see all of their progress over time!
Dont you love when someone gives you a new cue and everything just fucking clicks. Squat prs are in the air soon.
Love these squat sessions with the mettle crew.
Thanks for your help today @stevebotas , sometimes I forget simple adjustments in my own training even though I coach others through often. Funny how that works. Always nice to get insight from the crew! Time to clean up a few things and hit some new numbers at nats.
There are some things in my life happening that I never dreamed possible. One of them is being comfortable in my own skin. 3 years ago when i started "lifting" I weighed 125lbs, 6 years ago I weighed 115lbs, and I wanted nothing more than to be skinnier, and not even for myself but to impress others thinking it would somehow make me a better me because we were taught women are supposed to be fragile and beautiful. I tried magic pills, p90x, starving myself, I would wear a tonne of make up and spend lots of time picking outfits that made me look slender, picking out every flaw in the mirror. Here we are, 3 years later, 160lbs now and yeah it's rare I even put mascara on and when I look in the mirror I see a strong, healthy woman and no longer an unhealthy, insecure girl. It's taken time and believe me it hasnt been easy to adjust from a very long eating disorder but I am so glad I have been able to overcome such a demon and feel free to be myself. So if you ever wonder why I laugh so loud, or smile constantly, or am simply just grateful for the little things in life it's because I have been to rock bottom and I am so incredibly happy to not be there anymore.💜 How I look now is for no one but myself. So if you consider me "too bulky" or the latter remember that not everyone cares what you think and when you use words to hurt others they are a reflection of your own insecurities. -Every human is an artist in their own way you get to make this beautiful life your own masterpiece. -
This is where I get my passion, my motivation to help others. Spend time teaching yourself to love yourself, you will learn to love others the same and your life will truly be beautiful.
Sorry, not sorry for another booty shot! Cutting is going swell.🙏
Fun squat day at @mettleptc
Hit 335x1, ⚪⚪⚪was a little heavier than I wanted to be but overall happy with it as my mental game on squats has been weak from hip dysfunction.
Then decided to jump in wraps 275x3 and 315x3(shown). Mad respect to all you equipped lifters. That's some intensity. Holy f. 😍😍😍💯 Thanks Hannah for the push i needed to try it out and to everyone else for the spot :). Stoked to see what the mettle team brings to #cpunationals2018
My motivation to grind today and be better than yesterday.
180kg 3rd attempt at Westerns in September.
It's go time.
Gonna need some new deadlift socks from @liftevil for nats!
Had to deal with a minor injury yesterday so combined my day 3 and 4 today which was better than anticipated with still seized neck/trap.
These are the best pause deadlifts I have ever done for sure. For once I didnt hear my lumbar screaming at me to stop, I even pulled beltless and hook. Thank goodness, I'm not sure if it's the mouth guard or the correction my physio made in my spinal ligaments or maaaybe i got stronger:P but daaaaaammmmnnnnnnn Daniel(le). 295x4 @ 9
Then did Pin Squats 245x4 @9
I cant believe we are already #12weeksout
. I feel kinda behind for not getting on track with macros and lifts sooner but the hip dysfunction had me down in the gutter for the last few weeksm I was still training hard but not giving it my absolute best, plus good ol flu hit. Its a whole new game when your head isnt quite in it but you gotta keep grinding. Physically and mentally work and training were draining me but Ive almost figured out my schedule. Maybe ill have to cut back on work a bit😥 but that's okay. Anyone wanna pay me to train and study? 😍😝 Im excited because I feel 100% back on track though and lifts went better than expected. Thanks to @dylan.moldovan and @kyleoleniuk for the lift and spots today, was good to be back at @mettleptc . I'm so excited for the transition into the new gym and to see what 2018 brings. Woop! 😍🙏💯
This bootcamp I run makes me so happy! I started it originally a year ago to provide some former clients an affordable way to keep getting strong. I had run many boot camps before in larger groups, but none like Age Like A Superhero, where we focused on compound lifts and functional movement for every day strength in a small group. I fell in love pretty fast seeing 55+ year olds with 0 gym experience and their beaming smiles as they hit a PR and high fived each other. Soon they started coming in together and doing all the accessory lifts and corrective exercises on their own, plus additional routines they created themselves. Today one of my clients in this camp looked at me after she corrected her partners lift and said "I learn something every day in this group and that's why Ill always keep coming back." My heart🙏. In that moment I knew my training philosphy was not just to train but to EDUCATE. An important part of my commitment to my clients is ensuring they learn a long the way about lifting, and on how to eat properly. Taking time to breathe and talk about the whys behind things is important to me and I have been told how appreciated it is time and time again. It took me a long time to figure out my "niche" as a trainer because to be honest I love figuring out each new case that belongs to each new individual, some are easy tasks, but most, complex webs that need to be figured out. So to just focus on a sport or specialty seems to take the fun out of it, and the end of the day it's all about the learning experience and the results, I just like helping people find their happy place wether in the gym or in their own skin. I think the biggest motivator to my clients is the learning experience and learning how to get there, the results are icing on the cake. With the rise of the internet it's easy to find a bunch of bullshit answers and quick fixes when trying to feel comfortable in your own skin and all people want is something they can follow that's realistic and works. Anyways, thursday thoughts! Byeeeee
So proud of @zumba_qween we have been training together since mid August and she had had been having troubles with squat depth and perfecting her form. After some form adjustments and mobility she nailed her old 12 RPE 1rm for a nice 3ct pause 3x3 today @9. Excited to see the package Mel brings at her first meet in december and in the future. This girl doesnt quit ever, not in the gym or at life's countless struggles. 😍🙏💯💯 135x3x3 3ct pause @115lb bw
300x1 + 330 x1 beltless which I was stoked about
Then 315x5 @8(shown)
Had some serious DOMs from yesterdays squat session. I feel some serious quad gains are in my future. Didnt wanna deadlift but did it anyways and now I feel 110% better. The difference between those who dream and do is discipline, just do it. 💜🙏💯 Hip dysfunction has proved itself to be fixed, no issues last two nights. Lets see how this holds up, im feeling really overjoyed. Again, link in bio if you want to check my saviour out!
Be weird. Be silly. Be you.
Needed a break from this week and to try and get rid of the doms from the new areas I apparently found in my quads yesterday. Hooping is always my favourite release. I keep trying to make more time for it but it just hasnt been there lately. Im still happy I can break haha, one day Ill get the leg and shoulder hoop thing.
Accidentally used kyles beta alanine instead of my citrulline. Erh magerd.😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬 Getting about 1 hour of play a month right now which is sad. Will try to use this as an excuse for active recovery hehe.
All dem jingly plates!
155x1 @7?RPE #teamnoarch
Was trying treat 8s like 8s and undershot it quite a bit🙈💩.
Ive been having a lot of hip and pelvic floor dysfunction which we FINALLY fixed🙏. Tonight was the first training session in weeks I felt mentally on point again. Turns out a few old old injuries may have caused some dysfunctional movement patterns and firing issues. My glute med was inhibited, along with si joint, ql wasnt firing in hip extension(so when i squatted) and it was all leading to pain and other neurogenic issues. Sometimes it's not as easy as releasing things. This has been deeply rooted for years, from car accidents in my young life and then an old disc injury back in my waitressing days. And because i never had a coach or trainer when i started i just kept building up on bad habits, it's truly surprising i havent been injured yet but I have a great support system behind me now and couldnt be more thankful for O'Neills Sports Therapy(ill drop the link in my bio). I have chosen to learn a tonne about training principles, body mechanics, and the human body and am very satisfied with where this information has taken me. If you're not going to do your research, pay someone else to so ya dont get hurt.
Great weekend with great people. Now tunnel vision until Nationals, that was enough fun for the year.🙏💯😸
Not many pictures of us exist. We are usually much too busy catching up to remember taking pictures. I know no matter how far away we end up or how close, we will all share countless hours of laughter. Happy to have met these lovely folk over the last seven years, there's quite a few missing from this photo that we'll get tomorrow;). Cheers to the bride and groom tomorrow and to many happy years together 💜🙏
Today I decided I wanted to destroy my arms and do some cardio in my @popeyesregina gear. I love training for powerlifting but I do REALLY love hypertrophy and olympic lifts as well.
Here's todays workout if you wanna try!
Bent Row 3x8
Side Lateral Raise + seated front raise x15x3 +15 pulses
Cable rear delt flys + cable tricep pull downs(squeeze those tris every rep) 3x10
Clean and jerk 3x8
Power clean 3x5
Banded Back extension 3x10
Assisted Pull Up 3x10
Foot-in-TRX pushup to pike to bicycle crunch ( i was just playing around haha) 3x10, last set till failure
8 HIIT runs incline 5, speed 8
15 min cool down incline 7 speed 3
That was fun🙏💯🐧 my core was already shredded from sets of 10 and tempo work.

This was such a fun day! I can not wait until the next one @deadlift4cancer
Pulled my 2nd attempt mixed grip for first time since last December after losing my first attempt to grip/hips off the floor.
Thanks to Carolyn I have proof!!! 😍😂
Also love the cheering. 💯
400lb deadlift @160lb BW
No peak or taper. Just some unreal energy and a great day of lifting at @deadlift4cancer . @synergy.strength knows how to put on a show 💜
This lift puts me at 99kg added to my total since I started training with @calgarybarbell exactly a year ago.
Kyles phone died for my successful attempt at 400 so here is my first attempt that was unsuccessful. Everytime I step on the platform I learn a little more, even if it was just for fun.
In this moment I was anxious, I was super late and didnt get to do my usual warm up, 365 felt heaaavy in my warm up so I was worried, I had never failed a deadlift on the platform before. I was relying on adrenaline and my head wasnt clear, I lost my hip positioning off the floor which made this attempt slow and unsuccessful.
I knew I could complete this lift so I tried again in the bonus round. I took deep, calming breaths before I went out and @smszuch yelled some cues at me that stuck in my head while I set up and 400lb felt like a god damn 8 RPE, then I held it there waiting for a down command that didnt exist haha. 😂😂😂
I ended up taking first in the under 165lb class. Huge shout out to @lvdfitness@hercs_sk@email@example.com for the swag!!!! I am beyond excited for the next few months of training to see what I can bring to the National platform. 💜👌 Fire has been lit 💯💯💯💯💯 Sorry i dropped the bar 😥😥😥
So unbelievably proud of @zumba_qween as she prepares for Last Chance. We tested maxes for first time after her first 8 week cycle of powerlifting training with HUGE prs. 175lb squat, 110 bench, 250 deadlift at 115lb BW. These were her goals for the meet in December and Im so excited to help her crush them. 💯💯💯💯💯 If you want results like Mel, come check out my my 9 week lifting cycle for FREE. Accepting 4 people who want to be as bad ass as this chick. 👌Send me a DM.
#throwbackthursday to my 2nd meet ever, last December in Moose Jaw at Last Chance where I pulled and squatted over 300 for the first time. Finished the day with 308lb squat, 120lb bench, 319lb deadlift. I got my first medal and was over the moon about being in the 300 club. It's funny as you get stronger you tend to get a lot harder on yourself on what is worth celebrating. It's often hard to remember all the good days after a few bad ones. It seems the closer you get to your goals, the bigger they get and you truly understand what it means to never be satisfied because each time you check off a goal you make a bigger one. There is no room for complacency or to be stagnant, which is how we should live and lead our every day lives. The more I put into my lifting the more I take away from it, the endless lessons on patience, perserverance, and persistence have given me discipline and power I wouldnt trade for anything. People often ask me how I lift so much, how I wake up at 4am, how I put an end to a negative lifestyle, an eating disorder!? I just did it. If you want something bad enough, you do it. That is the purpose and intention of writing out your goals and finding clear paths to getting where you want to go, finding the resources and the mentality are so important, but you have to create it. Just do it!

Misery Loves Company
Close my eyes and listen,
For I can not bare to see.
The road that lay in front of me.
Torn apart inside,
Your hands feel clenched around my chest.
Waiting for a moment of weakness,
To sink your nails in deep past the flesh
That holds me together.
Too many tears Ive cried over a forever,
And more over never,
These feelings can no longer be oppressed.
Look past the swelling in my eyes and dive into their depths.
The hollow disguise,
Makes you fall back in your step.
Dip into my fears to see the pain,
As palpable as the sweat on my palms.
This sickness has no remedy.
I whisper to you breathlessly,
Will you refrain
From looking at me the same
As others before
and love me endlessly.
