God created one body of believers, one body - not separate - one Church with the same belief, together all worshipping and doing the will of God - as fully functioning members of Christ’s mystical body. ————————————————————————
God gave the Israelites specific rituals to follow, He taught them how to worship Him so that it was His way not their way. Jesus did the same, He instituted the Eucharist as His body and his blood, His soul and his divinity. He gave us this just as he gave it up on the cross so that we could be be closely united with him, this is the mystical union of Church and Christ - Jesus and His bride the church are one flesh just as it says in genesis 2:24 a husband and wife will be one flesh. Jesus instituted rituals and sacraments to pour out his grace, the sacraments serve as spiritual food, just as our body is nourished by real food. Christ nourishes His body through the sacraments, keeping His members functioning as they should through the nourishment of the sacraments.

After Adam and Eve fell from grace as a result of choosing to disobey God in the garden of paradise. They chose to be cut off from God, they chose created material (the fruit from the tree) over their Creator. As a result of this, God honoured their choice and gave them the separation they chose. But humans were created to love God, so when they were separate from Him they felt an emptiness. God knew that their choice wasn’t good for them so He never truly left them. We have all disobeyed God and chose separation from Him. He honours that choice if we chose it but He never ceases to offer us a way to come back to Him, for He is loving and knows that He is what is best for us. So throughout the ages after the fall God promised to mankind, that if they choose to love Him, that He will save them from their wrongdoings. God spoke through prophets, making promises with mankind, His ultimate promise was that He would send a saviour, who would bring His promise to fulfilment. Jesus of Nazareth came and fulfilled all the prophecies spoken about the Saviour. But He was rejected by many and was tortured and killed just as the prophets had said He would be - “He is despised and the least among men, a man of sorrows who knows infirmity. And his countenance was hidden and despised. Because of this, we did not esteem him.” -Isaiah 53:3
“even as the Son of man has not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a redemption for many." -Matthew 20:28.
Jesus came so that people may know and believe in Him through Faith, God wants believers to trust and love Him for what He has done for them. Jesus founded one Church, which He created with a hierarchical structure with Saint Peter as the head of the Church (The first Pope - from the Greek ‘Pappas’ meaning Father) He entrusted St Peter as the Holy Father over the Church as we read in The gospels “And I say to you, that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.”- Matthew 16:18. The Catholic Church is the only Church that can trace an unbroken line of bishops back 2000 years to Saint Peter.

☘️Prayer to Our Lady of Knock☘️
Our Lady of Knock , Queen of Ireland, you gave hope to your people in a time of distress and comforted them in sorrow. You have inspired countless pilgrims to pray with confidence to your divine Son, remembering His promise, “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find”. Help me to remember that we are all pilgrims on the road to Heaven. Fill me with love and concern for my brothers and sisters in Christ, especially those who live with me. Comfort me when I am sick, lonely or depressed. Teach me how to take part ever more reverently in the Holy Mass. Give me a greater love of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Pray for me now and at the end of my death.
Saint Ursula was a Christian living in Romano-Britain at a time when Christianity and paganism were living side by side. She was arranged to marry a pagan, she agreed on the conditions that he would become a Christian and that she could go on a pilgrimage to Rome. On her pilgrimage to Rome, she took 11,000 virgin women with her to also make the pilgrimage. On their return from Rome, they attracted the attention of a tribe of pagans in Germany who hated Christianity. The pagan tribe slaughtered St Ursula and her companions, thus becoming martyrs and dying for their faith in Christ. They serve as role models for us today, we should not be afraid to partake in our Christian duties even if they anger others who are opposed to them. Saint Ursula and fellow Virgin-Martyrs, pray for us.

You can never love her more than Jesus did.” -Saint Maximilian Kolbe. ”Jesus honored her before all ages, and will honor her for all ages. On the cross Jesus commanded us to take Mary into our homes (our hearts) “If anyone does not wish to have Mary Immaculate for his Mother, he will not have Christ for his Brother.” -Saint Maximilian Kolbe, Martyr. 3. Mary’s greatest desire is for our greater unity with her Son, Jesus “We never give more honor to Jesus than when we honor his Mother, and we honor her simply and solely to honor him all the more perfectly. We go to her only as a way leading to the goal we seek – Jesus, her Son.” -Saint Louis Marie de Montfort. 4. Mary cares for her Children and entrustment to her Immaculate heart is the easiest way to heaven “If you invoke the Blessed Virgin when you are tempted, she will come at once to your help, and Satan will leave you.” -St. John Vianney. 5.
