I didn’t really work with a barbell until I was 23. I didn’t have the mobility to do a front squat until I was 29. My endurance is the best it’s ever been at 30....here’s my point: stop using your fucking age as an excuse.

Here’s a little #throwback: left pic I was 15, didn’t workout at all and that was right before breast reduction surgery. After surgery, I got into capoeira but never had my diet on point so i always found hard to see results. But i didn’t care that much.
When I was 23, I started working with a trainer, trained bodybuilding style, was on a major deficit diet and I looked great....fast forward to 2016, when I switched over to crossfit, started watching what i ate and counting macros...In 2017 (right pic) I not only looked, but most importantly, I FELT the BEST I ever had up to now; my mobility is crazy good, I have a strong engine and I can lift pretty heavy...but here’s the side of the picture you don’t see: I struggle a lot too! My technique is shitty on a lot of things, I throw mad tantrums when I miss a lift bc of something stupid, I tend to overdo my training, and I don’t recover as much as I should. .
Here’s my point, don’t compare yourself to others; we all have our strengths and challenges. Don’t quit because wishing, or simply putting something to the side, will not make it any easier nor give you results. Work hard, be patient (MAJOR struggle of mine), the results will come 💪🏼💪🏼
